The time has come…again! On February 27, twenty-eight 6th, 7th, and 8th grade contestants gathered in the school library for the HMS 2024 Spelling Bee. A link to the “Bee” was posted for those who were unable to attend in-person. Starting at 9:00 AM, the competition continued for around 20 minutes before only five contestants were left. Tensions rose as one by one, they dropped off until only two contestants remained. With a tense battle between each other, the pressure was on, but, ultimately, the final winners were revealed:
1st Place: Olivia Chiola, 6th grade
2nd Place: Aidan Adkisson, 8th grade
3rd place: Amelia Cappuccio, 8th grade
