Unfortunately, while Mr. Clements has left HMS for retirement, we have a new vice-principal in our school:  Mr. LoSasso! After meeting with him, I’ve learned he is very nice and that he will help us in a lot of ways.

Mr. LoSasso has been working in schools for awhile; he came from the Stratford School District where he enjoyed the time and connections he made there.  When asked, he said he wants hard work and a positive attitude from the students at our school. So far, he enjoys our school and is very happy here!

When he first entered our school he said that he was very excited.  Although some of us do miss our old vice principal very much since he offered us friendship and help with the toughest times in our lives, we are confident that Mr. LoSasso can do the same! So far he has met many of our teachers and enjoys their company; he believes that they are very dedicated.   In addition, he has offered to come to help with our school dances.

For now, we can now hear him on the announcements making jokes with our new principal, Dr. Rudnesky.  Next week, many students will get to see him during class meetings.  You can also see Mr. Lossaso during your lunch and study hall period. In addition, 7th graders also met him during the BUG Program announcement. I think you will agree he is very kind and welcoming.

While we will miss Mr. Clements, our new Vice Principal, Mr. LoSasso, will be able to open our eyes to new things for success here at HMS!
