Farewell to Former Vice-Principal; Mr. Clements

Former HMS Vice-Principal, Mr. Clements, spent over ten years at Hammonton Middle School where he impacted many teachers, staff, and students in influential and positive ways. Mr. Clements was instrumental in helping out new teachers to the district like Ms. Ford, who stated, “He showed me how administrators can be extremely helpful.”

Another teacher at HMS stated, “Mr. Clements is a great man, he is really hardworking, intelligent, and easy to work with. These characteristics are greatly appreciated.”

Additional staff members, Ms. McConomy and Mrs. Goblirsch both stated that he was very kind and easy to talk to, while Mrs. Gaunt, 7th-grade science teacher, said that, “He made it like he wasn’t a boss, he was a friend who I could talk to. He was funny.”

Mrs. Walsh added, ” He was always supportive and kind to his staff.”

As Mr. Clements heads into retirement, many well-wishes from staff were heard about having the best of luck in all of his future endeavors. In addition, staff wanted him to know to enjoy the relaxation after a long and wonderful career in education!
