It is officially November, which is when most people begin decorating for Christmas. But with Christmas decorating there is a big question. When do you decorate for Christmas? In my opinion, I decorate on November 1st, but others beg to differ. Fellow students in Journalism Academy voted that after Thanksgiving is the right time. Retail stores begin to put out Christmas decorations around the first week of November, which is part of the reason why I decorate so early. However, it has not always been this way, historically-decorations were put out after Thanksgiving, but demand for Christmas decor increased, and so did retail competition; So the division to put stuff out earlier was made.
