Friday, October 13th, what’s usually a spooky day for most Americans, will be an exhilarating day for many this year. While 13 is usually considered an unlucky number, for Taylor Swift, 13 is the luckiest number in the world– which is why her Eras Tour Movie is coming out on that exact day! So instead of screaming and trembling this October 13, people will be singing their hearts out to Taylor’s voice. Some people may even decide to stand up and dance with the songs, depending on the mood of the theater. Theaters have even said that singing, dancing, and dressing up is encouraged, although to be considerate of others. 

This 2-hour and 40 minute movie seems to be so big that it changed the opening day dates for other movies like The Exorcist:Believer and Ordinary Angels. Tickets will be sold for $13.13 for children and $19.89 for adults. These specific numbers are very important to Taylor, (her lucky number, and the year she was born), however, taxes may ruin this “perfect” number for some people! 

So, what’s it even about anyway? Well, this movie is all about Taylor Swift, and her tour that started all the way back in March of 2023. It will probably include her singing a lot of the songs that she sang on her tour, her journey through all of it, and maybe even her silly little mistakes throughout it all. Songs from almost all her albums will be on there, plus some exciting surprise songs if you’re lucky. All in all, it’s basically just a much cheaper way to experience the Eras Tour!
