From October 4th through October 7th, the Scholastic Book Fair was hosted by Hammonton Middle School. Books and other items were for sale during all periods. This book fair was VERY different than years past. Rather than having the fair set up inside the library, these cabinets were placed in the hallway outside of the media center and opened up to reveal books. When making a purchase, students entered the media center where there was a register to buy the books from. In addition to books, there were also diaries, fidget toys, and lanyards for sale. While you could buy books in between periods or at lunch, there would also be a designated time for classes to go down and buy stuff. It was different, but seemed to be enjoyed by all students. It was a new take on the book fair, and I think it turned out really well!
