Bounce House Blast!

Julia Sulzner, Staff Writer

How could you describe the experience of the bounce house? Overall, here is the description of the scene: enthusiastic students ready to race their friends,  bundles of laughter, and there was no such thing as shoes; from Nike to Adidas shoes where piled like an avalanche on the bleachers. This bounce house blast took place on November 20th in the HMS Gymnasium. The reason for the amusing event was to reward the students with a gold, silver, or bronze card at the end of the first marking period. Not only was the bounce house to reward students who deserved it, it was to bring students together and to give them a chance to breathe and relax from all of the work they have done through the last 3 months. This event was also supported for Renaissance Rewards Day.

What took place at the scene? Here’s an intake: there were three bundles of joy bounce houses: one, a bounce house’s objective was to race student against student, was a pure enjoyment. You would have to slide, glide, jump, and pass certain obstacles and in the end beat your partner. The second bounce house was as tall as the gymnasium ceiling; it stretched so high if it was outside it would soar above the clouds.  The object of that moon bounce was to with enough friction on your feet, climb up a slippery hill without falling as you held onto a blue rope on the side of the hill. The feeling can be described as being a mountain climber climbing high slopes in the desert. Then, you would jubilantly slip down a steep slide and crawl out of the exit. Finally, the last bounce house was  terrifying, yet exciting. If you ever have gone bungee jumping, it is a similar feeling, but instead of going down, you are going forward. The point of this house was to reach for the Velcro eraser before your opponent does without the strong pull of rope rips you back to the airy rubber floor. Without a doubt, the event of Renaissance Rewards Day was a BOUNCE HOUSE BLAST!
