Did you know there’s actually a lot you may not know about the HMS girls basketball team? Mrs. Verzi is the girls basketball coach she says they’ve had a “good season”.   Team captains are: Amilya Porteons, Samantha Torres, and Sara Peretti.

Basketball teaches kids how to work hard, be motivated, meet new kids, and to just have fun. The girls started their season right after Thanksgiving. Their last game was February 24^th. Through the whole season, they had 9 wins and 3 loses.

The girls basketball team worked hard the whole season they made an effort of having 9 wins. Next year they hope to end the season with even but wins; girls you should be proud of yourselves because you did well!
