This year HMS has implemented some brand new Acadamies for the students! One that I thought was interesting was the Robotics Academy. The teacher that runs the program is Mr. Minchok. He is very enthusiastic and excited about building and using technology.  The students in this Academy will build robots ; the kids involved get to choose what they intend to build out of Mine Storm blocks and Legos.

In addition, if you’d like to join this specific Academy, anyone is allowed to sign up. There are no tryouts and it is open to everyone. The club exists because the kids like building and enjoy it. The program is every Thursday from 2:30 to 3:20 after-school in the library.  If you enjoy being creative and building things, I encourage you to join an Academy like the Robotoics Academy!
