A few weeks ago, the 2021 Fall Cabaret full video posted! As an hour long video, it’s really wonderful to see how well people perform in their own unique talents- whether that includes singing, dancing, or skits– everyone did amazing. Let’s talk about it!

More than 60 people signed up for the HMS Drama Club this fall. It was really exciting to see people perform all of their special talents! Everyone rehearsed and worked really hard, so performance days were really successful. Although we were expecting our cabaret to be a live show, unfortunately we were restricted to video recording. In the end, this was beneficial for members. During a “normal performance”, members only have one shot to perform- and if you mess up, you mess up. On the contrary, with recording, you can get as many shots as you like to perfect a song or scene.

In order for things to run smoothly,  members of the club were assigned a specific day to attend after-school and record their performance. Everyone was expected to show up in full costume and bring all their props. Everyone followed that amazingly, and again, everyone did amazing.

Unfortunately, Fall Drama Club is now over, and we have to impatiently wait until the spring session of HMS Drama Club occurs. Let’s hope for more success during the spring drama season!
