As spring has finally come around, for the first time ever, Hammonton introduced intramural tennis. This year, Mrs. Gaunt and Mr. Ramos are both coaching Hammonton’s first tennis teams. While they won’t be playing any other teams or traveling anywhere, they will be learning the ins and outs of the sport and preparing to play competitive tennis in the future. These types of projects and clubs need to be celebrated, by getting kids interested in less mainstream sports like basketball and football and more involved with sports that don’t have as many recreational leagues.
