Christmas Chaos; Early Shopping?
December 7, 2021
Because of the pandemic people are frantic to get their presents early this Christmas, and because of late shipping and losses of jobs some people’s gifts won’t arrive on time for the holiday or possibly even get to their destination at all.
This Black Friday and Cyber Monday Americans were expected to spend around $60 billion dollars– that’s a lot of presents and items! Experts also predict and that because of inflation, prices for toys and electronic devices will be higher than ever before! Whether you’re walking into a brick and mortar store or shopping online, the earlier you shop the better.
In addition to shortages of toys and electronics, there have also been less of a holiday favorite: Christmas trees. At White Dog Farms in Hammonton, New Jersey, all of the trees were tagged or sold more than a week ago according to a call on their answering recording. So deck the halls and get ready for the wild ride of getting in the check-out line EARLY.
